The 3rd Annual World Music Festival begins tonight with the booty bumping Mexican Institute of Sound. With a legendary collection of over 45,000 albums, MIS’s Camilo Lara is the mix master with sounds of Mexico from cumbia to mambo dating back to the 1920s blended with the pop and electronica of today. You can check one of his videos and stream a song here if you have any doubts.

Thank the gods of public radio and public libraries for yet another absolutely FREE concert on the Armstrong Quad just north of Armstrong Hall on the Colorado College campus at the NE corner of Cache la Poudre and Cascade tonight at 7 p.m.
Bring a picnic and bring some canned goods to donate to Care & Share. (In the event of rain, the concert will be held inside Armstrong Hall).
